About the Charity

Our Story
At Compton Care, we support people in our local communities who are living with life limiting conditions, helping them to live the best life possible. For over 40 years we’ve been providing specialist palliative and end of life care, as well as emotional, practical and bereavement support for families and loved ones.

Our Approach
Our care is shaped around each person – delivered at our purpose-built facilities or in the comfort of their own home – ensuring they feel safe, supported and treated with dignity. From managing symptoms to offering counselling, wellbeing sessions and compassionate guidance, we’re here to help people navigate every step of their journey.
Our priority
Above all, our priority is simple: to make sure anyone in our community facing a palliative diagnosis can access the expert care and support they need, when they need it most.
Our specialist services are available free of charge to patients aged 18 or over (and their families) living in Wolverhampton, parts of the Black Country (Walsall and Dudley), South Staffordshire and east Shropshire.

Your support means we can be there for those who need it most
Are you able to join a Compton Care event, volunteer in one of our Compton Care shops or play our Lottery? Without your continued support, it wouldn’t be possible for us to provide our palliative care and bereavement support services, free of charge, to our patients and their loved ones.
Donate
Whether you come to one of our events, organise your own, or get your colleagues involved at work or school, fundraising for Compton Care is a great way to show your support while having fun!
